There are a few different types of ASMR, the most popular and well-known being visual and auditory.
Visual ASMR refers to watching certain types of videos or images that trigger the ASMR response.
This could be anything from someone doing a close-up of a repetitive task like folding laundry or opening and closing a door to watching someone eat or apply makeup.
Auditory ASMR is similar, but instead of visuals, it uses sound to trigger the ASMR response.
This could be anything from whispered voices or soft speaking to crinkling paper or tapping on objects.
There are also a few less common types of ASMR, such as olfactory (smell) and haptic (touch).
These are less well-known but can still trigger the ASMR response in some people.
